Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story Sets U.S. Release Date
documentary about Christopher Reeve's life during and after playing Superman will be having a limited theatrical run in the US, and has just had its release date announced. Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story debuted at this year's Sundance Film Festival, and was met with immense critical acclaim. Directed by Ian Bonhôte and Peter Ettedgui, the film features never-before-seen archival footage of the actor's life, as well as interviews with Reeve's three children and the various A-list actors that Reeve called friends and colleagues.
Deadline has confirmed that Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story will release in select US theaters on September 21, 2024. The screenings come via DC Studios and Fathom Events, who have also arranged an encore presentation on September 25 - Christopher Reeve's birthday. An international release is also planned, but has not yet been given an official release date.
