Warning: The following contains SPOILERS for Superman and Lois season 3, episode 5, "Head On."The tease in the final scene of the Superman and Lois episode "Head On" suggests that one classic villain who previously appeared on the show will soon return. Superman and Lois season 3 had already introduced a number of new supervillains under the aegis of crime boss Bruno Mannheim. It appears that Mannheim's Intergang organization is about to up the ante by bringing one of Superman's most powerful adversaries back from the dead.
The activities of Intergang have featured prominently in the story of Superman and Lois season 3, with speculation rife that a villain war with Lex Luthor is inevitable. Even without Superman's greatest enemy in the mix, Intergang has proven itself to be a serious threat, somehow acquiring Superman's blood and using it to empower various villains. This was only the start, however, as Intergang's boldest gambit to date may lead to the resurrection of one of Superman's greatest foes.
