Troi Is The "Key" To Star Trek: Picard Season 3, Hints Showrunner

Warning: SPOILERS for Star Trek: Picard Season 3, Episode 6 - "The Bounty"Star Trek: Picard season 3 showrunner Terry Matalas hinted at the vital role Counselor Deanna Troi (Marina Sirtis) plays in the second half of the season. At the conclusion of Picard season 3, episode 6, "The Bounty," Captain Will Riker (Jonathan Frakes) is captured by Captain Vadic (Amanda Plummer) and her Changeling cohorts. The defiant Riker is crestfallen to find that Vadic also holds his wife, Deanna Troi, a prisoner.
On March 27, Terry Matalas responded to a concerned Tweet from @lilybartlives who fears that "all the #Troi fans have me freaked out that they’ll be very little of the counselor this season." Matalas' reply offers assurance that while Troi's role has been limited thus far in Star Trek: Picard season 3's first 6 episodes, the Betazoid Counselor may be "the key" to the season.
