Superman & Lois Season 3 Ep 5 Makes A Minor DC Villain A Major Threat

Warning: The following contains SPOILERS for Superman and Lois season 3, episode 5, "Head On."The Superman and Lois episode "Head On" introduced a new villain called Deadline, whose unique power set presented an honest challenge to Superman. This continues a trend that has run throughout Superman and Lois season 3, with numerous obscure DC Comics supervillains rising to challenge the Man of Steel. All of these villains have been in the employ of Bruno Mannheim and his organization Intergang.
The action of Superman and Lois season 3, episode 5, "Head On," involved the gangster Bruno Mannheim on every level, though the man himself barely put in an appearance. Lois and Clark searched for evidence of Mannheim's corruption while Lois was undergoing chemotherapy at a hospital financed by Mannheim. Later in the episode, Intergang launched a bold raid on multiple Department of Defense sites. This led to the action-packed centerpiece of the episode, in which Superman confronted the villain called Deadline.
