Star Wars Boss "In Full Support" Of Hollywood"s Writers Strike
Lucasfilm's Kathleen Kennedy has announced her full support for the WGA strikes, a major development that will please Star Wars viewers. On May 2, 2023, the Writers Guild of America - a combined US labor union embracing both movie and TV writers - launched major strikes in pursuit of improved compensation for writers across Hollywood. Many shows and movies have been indefinitely delayed, with even Netflix's flagship Stranger Things affected.
