5 Good DC Characters Who Can Appear In The Batman 2

As Matt Reeves' trilogy continues with The Batman - Part II, Robert Pattinson's Bruce Wayne could benefit from some more allies in his Gotham crusade. Being a younger Dark Knight in the early years of his career, there's some uncertainty regarding whether The Batman will ever gain a sidekick like Robin. However, there are plenty of characters in Gotham who could still come alongside to support the Caped Crusader.
Following 2022's The Batman, Bruce Wayne has three primary allies: Alfred Pennyworth, Lieutenant Jim Gordon, and Selina Kyle's Catwoman. However, Batman could and should gain more supporters as his crusade evolves throughout the Batman trilogy from director Matt Reeves. After all, there are plenty of people in the existing Batman mythos with and without masks who want to see Gotham lifted from its darkness just as Bruce Wayne does. Here are five characters from the comics who'd fit The Batman trilogy well as potential new allies.
5 Lucius Fox

First appearing in 1979 with Batman #307, Lucius Fox is the CEO and President of Wayne Enterprises as appointed by Bruce Wayne himself. Most notably played by Morgan Freeman in Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy, Fox is a brilliant genius and inventor who helps supply Batman will his vast arsenal and vehicles, offering brand-new gadgets to aid in Batman's crusade. Obviously, Lucius Fox knows Bruce Wayne's secret and quickly becomes just as integral to Batman's mission as Alfred or any of Wayne's other allies in Gotham City.
Although Wayne Enterprises is mentioned in The Batman universe, there's been no mention of Lucius Fox as the man in charge helping Bruce run his family's company. Likewise, many of Bruce's gadgets and vehicles currently feel like prototypes, having likely been created and customized by Bruce Wayne himself potentially with help from Alfred. However, one would hope that Batman's costume and tech will evolve as he does over time. To that end, bringing Fox into the fold would certainly be a dynamic way to explain any future upgrades and new gadgets.
