Holotactics is a battle simulation game in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor in which Cal engages in a holographic tabletop fight with teams made from various enemies that he has faced on his journey thus far and scanned with BD-1. There are 37 in total and players can view how many enemy entries they have scanned in their inventory under Holotactics Scans.
The playable opponents in Holotactics are some of Cal's new and returning friends in Jedi: Survivor whom each have their own specific reward. Each fight will have several waves with a limited number of Battle Points available. These Battle Points are used to purchase enemies, also known as units in Holotactics, which each have their own cost for the fight.
Empire Units

The first category of units is the Empire Units. By the time Holotactics is unlocked, this will likely be the largest category of units available to Cal as it's mostly filled with Stormtrooper variants that are encountered from the beginning of the game when Cal is being shown how to use his new Jedi: Survivor force abilities.
This category is also broken into Ranged and Melee units. Any combination of the units can be used as long as it does not exceed the Battle Point cost for the fight. The best and most expensive unit for this section is the AT-ST, which is encountered as a mini-boss on Jedha, so it will not be available before then.
