The upcoming Star Wars Outlaws looks to be an incredible heist game set in the Star Wars universe during a well-known point in the timeline when things are really heating up in galactic politics. So far, it doesn't feature a Jedi or Sith but seemingly just a scoundrel who is trying to make her way in the world beside her adorable pet. As far as has been currently revealed, the game doesn't have direct ties to any other Star Wars media other than being in the same universe, but perhaps it should.
Star Wars Outlaws' release date has not been announced yet, and it could still be some time before fans will see more information regarding the game. Though this is disappointing for anxious gamers who want to play the new Star Wars title, it does mean that Disney has time to make it into a bigger project to give fans even more lore and background on these new characters and create even more hype for the Star Wars franchise as a whole. In short, this would be the perfect game to create an event similar to what happened back in the 1990s with Shadows of the Empire.
