MCU Show About Marvel"s Nova Superhero Gets First Update In 2.5 Years As It Moves Forward With Criminal Minds Showrunner

Marvel Studios takes a significant step forward in the Nova show"s development over two years after the project"s first announcement. The Nova Corps made their first MCU appearance in The Guardians of the Galaxy, and they were decimated off-screen by Thanos before the events of Avengers: Infinity War. Ten years after the Nova Corps" debut, their Avengers-level hero Richard Rider hasn"t appeared in any MCU movie or show. This will finally change with Marvel"s Nova series.
As reported by Deadline, Criminal Minds showrunner Ed Bernero joins Marvel Studios" Nova series as head writer, replacing Moon Knight writer Sabir Pirzada. Nova is yet to receive a tentative release date, lead actor, and synopsis. However, the series is unlikely to be released before Phase 7.
