Superman & Lois Just Gave Clark An Answer To Kryptonite

Superman & Lois season 3 just gave the Man of Steel a much-needed answer to Kryptonite. In nearly every Superman story, the CW series included, Kryptonite is regarded as the greatest thorn in the hero’s side. It’s never been something that he’s had a good defense for, although that’s an aspect of his story that might be changing in Superman & Lois.
Similar to the situation with most versions of Superman, a significant portion of his biggest challenges have stemmed from Kryptonite in one way or another. Unfortunately for Clark, it appears to be public knowledge that the green mineral from Superman’s homeworld can cause him serious harm. For that reason, multiple characters in his series have looked for ways of using it against him. Sometimes, Superman is able to overcome these obstacles by sheer force of will. But in other instances, Superman is left completely helpless by its effect on his body.
